How time flies, in a blink of an eye, August have arrive. Nothing much though going on for me, Work, work and more work. Running about fixing pc's for the 2 CyberCafe i am supervising.
Lol i think i am using more fuel than my allowance allocated. Need to talk to my boss for a raise i guess. Hope fuel prices don't go up anymore or else i would have to downgrade my car or take public transport. Sigh aren't there other worries besides money?. Guess i have to seriously think of getting another part-time work to sustain my income.
Well as the Chinese saying goes "the ship will straighten up once it's at the port". Hope everything works out once i got everything under control.

Lunch Party
I was never good with relative names (i.e grand-aunt or ku-ma and all that), usually i just call them aunt or uncle cause i am English ed instead of the traditional Chinese ed. Well last sat we had a gathering lunch to celebrate one of my closest aunt (i.e my mother's sister) daughter's birthday at a Chinese restaurant in KL Sentral's Hilton Hotel called Chynna restaurant .
It was a posh place if i might add and the security scrutiny was at the peak. Before you get into the hotel, your car would have to be scan for bombs by 2 security guard via boot check and the mirror with pole to check underneath your car. Got thru that with no problems lol. May i say the parking there as horrible, not the parking obviously, but the rates, RM6 per hour? OMG. Well its was a posh place like i said so i would expect the parking to be that much but i wouldn't be surprise if the car park was nearly empty. Why don't they lower the rates and get more cars? wouldn't that be more profitable than having an empty parking. The only reason for it that i can think of its was to deter people from parking in there and heading for the trains later thus filling up spaces that were meant for the hotel guests. Anyways lets forget about the parking and move on.
I parked my car and proceeded to head for the restaurant, when i caught a glimpse of my mom and her sister walking to the lift. Well after a little check on whether i lock my doors (yes i can be forgetful sometimes), i went with them to the restaurant.

I did say "posh" didn't I?

(Yes those are dimsum bamboo trays and yes we did had dimsum for lunch)

Well then we proceeded to our table and ordered some food (didn't get the pic for them cause they were grab up too fast and yes again it was me lol). So after ordering it was a custom to the restaurant that we were served ginseng tea as a welcome drink to their restaurant. Then came this man i think who seem like a china worker sparring kung fu pouring the tea out of a long tea pot.

After enjoying the free show (from the kung fu guy), our food came and it was delicious. All the typical dim sum dishes (siu mai, ha kau, loh mai kai and the rest). Having stuffed ourselves, came the main event for the birthday girl, the birthday cake.

The cake was a green tea tiramisu (i think it was green tea but didn't ask). It was nice and soft. Nothing really special but not of the ordinary either. All and all, it was a treat to dine in that restaurant and don't ask me about the bill cause i definitely wouldn't be able to foot the bill anyways lol.
Well then, if you want something good and doesn't mind the paying the bill, i would recommend this place. Nice atmosphere, new experience (kun fu tea pouring) and good food.
Before i forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ^.^ and all the best to my cousin/nephew.

Goodbye My Love
Saturday June 28th at 7.30PM GMT +8,
My lovely Pentium4 2.8HT, 1G Ram, 80GB Maxtor HDD, Asus P4S533-X MB, 350Watt Power Supply, has departed from me in a cloud of black smoke and a loud noise. She was a faithful companion who has been fully supportive of me and my work. She was caring and lovely piece of equipment who have outdone her lifespan and continue to provide services and support until now. I wish her happiness in her electronic heaven and I will forever remember you. Goodbye My Love.
Well i have said my peace, now on the the real event. Yesterday as i was fixing a pc for a customer, my pc blew up (not literally) in my room after a power short circuit. Wasn't expecting it but luckily i had backup all my data on my external drive. Though i thought it will go after it got struck by lightning a few days back, surprisingly it didn't and continue to work at the expense of the graphic card and monitor. Well now it totally screwed and i have to go get a new one.

LOL, and i said i would not neglect my own blog. Here i go doing it again. Well these past few weeks have been hectic. First i have to get 2 Cybercafe set-up and ready for opening by the end of next month. Imagine pulling kilometers of LAN cable and also setting up 240 PC's >.< . Then my comp screws up on me when i didn't have time to backup any of them, end up i have to redo all the settings and programs not mentioning the amount of data i have to somehow get back. Sighz hope things will work out for now.

Neglected Blog
Sorry guys/gals that i neglected my blog for so long, been very busy running around doing work and also taking care of my elderly grandmother who is back from the US.
Well an update for all the happenings during my MIA on my blog.
Start of May was just a quiet week there nothing much, just the normal routine, work - eat - work - dead tired driving home - sleep, rinse and repeat all week long.
The second week, my parent was on their way back from US (6 month's trip if i may add) after visiting my newly born niece, my mom's 1st granddaughter, my grandma's lost-count grand something (sorry not really good at those relationship terms). Below is pic of her and my brother, her name is Addison Karmen Liew (dont ask me why her name is that long, it's just is). Doesn't she look cute? looks more alike to my brother than to her mother. Will post more pictures once i have them digitized at the local photo shop.

Well this month i also went and bought something for myself which i should have did a long time ago (what i really meant was something to help me get my weight in control lol). This is the Nike+ Set, which consist of a Nike+ shoe, Nike+Ipod sports kit and also an Ipod Nano. What this thing does is that it enables you to use an Ipod Nano to track your running/exercise routine and to upload the data to a website (Nike+ website) for you to track your progress anywhere in the world (and also compare you records to others).

Most of you might say, what la, spend so much to buy that thing just to track your progress, waste money and so on. But frankly speaking, running alone wont keep your interest on track for a long time. Having something to help you keep track of your progress and also show your running/exercise achievement is a very good motivational push to keep you going on your routine. Below are the pics of that Nike+ thingy.

I also visited this makan place near my house (Kuchai Lama Entrepreneurs Park) called Dragon Dynasty which is a Chinese style eatery. Their food consist mostly of Chinese cuisines like Chicken rice, Duck rice and so on so forth. What attracted me to their shop was their egg tart, which look quite scrumptious from the window.
So me and a friend decided to have dinner there, as it was late and we're too lazy to find another place. I ordered the plain Fried Duck rice while my friend went for the more exotic Fried Goose rice, we also ordered some egg tarts as appetizer while waiting for our food.

To tell you the truth, the place wasn't anything to shout about. My rice was bit hard and the duck was overcooked, so was my freind's Goose rice. The egg tarts look appetizing but the taste was the same as any normal egg tart that you would get anywhere else. Overall bill came to RM26+ (Duck Rice RM 7.00, Goose Rice RM11.50, Two Ice Chinese Tea RM 3.00, Egg Tarts Each RM1.50 buy 3 free 1). I wouldn't recommend this place even if there's nothing open to eat (seriously it's expensive and not that nice).
Well thats all for now, will make a promise to update my blog more frequently from now on.
